We just dropped one of our most powerful updates yet, giving you complete control over how your Answer Agent behaves in Slack.
Every team is different. Some channels buzz with hundreds of questions a day. Others are laser-focused and need a gentler touch. Now, your Agent can match your exact workflow.
What’s New?
1. Which questions to ignore? - settings
In questionbase.ai/settings, you’ll see we’ve pre-loaded smart defaults (based on two years of working with teams like yours):
But maybe your team has unique needs?
Now you can edit these instructions to match your flow. Don’t want the Agent to answer questions that mention teammates? Easy! Want to expand what it responds to? Go for it. It’s your Agent.
2. Control what gets saved.
Not every answer needs to become company knowledge. Scroll down to “Saving new answers” and decide what’s worth capturing.
By default, your Agent saves:
Want to save only customer-related info? Or maybe specific vendor processes? Tweak the instructions and make it yours.
3. Choose the writing style.
In “Style of writing”, set the format for saved answers. Whether you prefer short Q&As or detailed explanations, your Agent will follow suit. (By default, we keep things concise, structured, and easy to scan.)
Why This Matters:
Slack is where your team talks, shares, and solves problems. Now, your Answer Agent can fit right in, working alongside your team the way you want.
We’re building this with you.
We’re on a mission to make your Agent the most helpful teammate you’ve got. Got feedback? Dreaming of a feature? Want the Agent to be more conversational when it doesn’t know something?
Hit reply and tell us! We’re all ears and taking requests for the next batch of updates.
Let’s make Slack smarter—together.
