Connecting Question Base with Intercom brings all your Help Center content into the same searchable place as your team’s Slack conversations. With the PRO plan, this integration delivers consistent answers — faster.
What You’ll Need
A Question Base account on the PRO plan.
Access to your Intercom workspace credentials.
Step 1: Find the Intercom Integration
Log in to Question Base.
Go to Settings → Add an integration.
Select Intercom from the integrations list.
Step 2: Grant Permissions & Configure (via Ragie.ai)
The Intercom integration is powered by Ragie.ai, our secure integrations partner.
Click Continue to start authorization.
Log in to your Intercom account when prompted.
Approve the requested permissions — this allows Ragie to sync your Help Center content.
Choose which articles or categories you want to sync.
Click Connect Data to begin syncing.

Step 3: Syncing Starts Automatically
Once connected, Question Base will immediately start importing your selected Intercom Help Center content.
Syncing works in the background; large knowledge bases may take a few minutes.
You can monitor sync status via the Options menu.
Step 4: Using Slack for Instant Answers
Once everything is synced:
Team members can ask questions in Slack.
Question Base automatically searches your synced Intercom content and returns the most relevant article.
Each answer includes “View all sources” so users can trace back to original content.
